Thames Path Nation Trail badges.

Trees aren't the first thing you think of when you picture the City of London. But there are surprisingly many more dotted around than you might think. Some have been there decades as well, withstanding property development, bombs and general neglect.

I'm no tree expert but join me as I guide you on a three mile circular walk from the Bank of England around the City of London as we consider the urban trees.

About Des Garrahan

Most of what I know of London and the rest of the UK I've learnt through my feet. I've led well of 100 walks of varying distances across varying terrains for the Ramblers. I've lived and worked my whole life in London and still discover new things daily as I walk about that excite, astound and interest me.

I've got my own way of talkin', but everything is done with a southern accent where I come from...
