Following the formal AGM business we will be hosting a panel discussion on What Future for London’s Countryside? with presentations by landscape architect, Kim Wilkie, and our departing Director Neil Sinden, along with a panel discussion with leading commentators including Sarah Williams from Sustain/London Food Link, Paul Wood author of London is a Forest, Crispin Truman, CEO of National CPRE, and others (to be announced). We will also be introducing our new Director Anna Taylor.

Contributors

Kim Wilkie - Kim is a landscape architect who has been working on designs for London’s open spaces since the Thames Landscape Strategy in 1991. He has has been a member of advisory boards for The Royal Parks, English Heritage and the London Mayor.

Sarah Williams - is Programme Director for Sustain joining in 2009 as part of the Capital Growth team supporting over 2000 new community food growing spaces in London. She currently oversees Sustain's London Programme under the London Food Link umbrella.

Paul Wood - is the author of London’s Street Trees, London is a Forest, London Tree Walks and is the editor of the Great Trees of London Map. He has had a lifelong passion for nature, especially trees, and was formerly a trustee of the London Wildlife Trust.

Crispin Truman - is chief executive of CPRE with over 20 years’ experience of leading and growing successful, award-winning organisations across multiple sectors, as both chief executive and chair. He has an OBE for services to heritage and charitable foundations.

Neil Sinden - before joining CPRE London as Director in 2017, Neil worked as a consultant at Ruskinland in the Wyre Forest. He is a trustee of the arts and conservation charity Common Ground, and was previously CPRE’s national Director of Policy and Campaigns.
