Tickets: £12.50 p/person (plus booking fee) - a proportion of ticket sales will go towards the Urban Tree Festival.

This is a fun and experimental online workshop looking into different ways to engage with drawing trees, from simple techniques to new ways of looking and thinking about trees, and how we can respond creatively.

This is a fun and experimental online workshop looking into different ways to engage with drawing trees, from simple techniques to new ways of looking and thinking about trees, and how we can respond creatively. The exercises will inspire ways to help with your creative approaches and encourage you to try your own ideas out. 

You will need basic drawing materials and paper - details will be sent with booking information but can be adapted to whatever you have, so feel free to use recycled materials as drawing surfaces too..

Ages 18+, from beginners to those more experienced.


Contributors

Ruth Broadbent is an artist, educator and the founder of walk.draw. Her creative practice is inspired by nature and ecology, and the extension of line in drawing and sculpture. Recent drawings include a series of map-like imaginary puddle worlds and sand drawings in response to the tide at the water’s edge. She is a member of drawing, walking and ecology artist networks.
