In Plane Sight

A guided audio experience.

Activity Information

There is a great story lining many of our busy streets, our local parks and perhaps even right outside your front door. A story about style, resilience, foreign romance, generosity and magnificence. It’s the story of one of London’s most iconic, yet invisible figures - the London Plane tree.

In this imaginative and curiosity filled audio experience by artist Sam Furness you will explore how this tree is one of our truly great icons in London - but no one really knows about them.

The audio is pre-recorded and you will be able to take it at your leisure. You can listen to this story wherever you may be - but it’s best enjoyed outside, on a walk and preferably in London (!)

Berkeley Square, Highbury Fields, Victoria Park, Finsbury Park - are all optimum spots to not just hear this story but experience it first hand.
