Following a successful afternoon out In Kew Gardens during the 2022 Urban Tree Festival, with Caribbean Elders from the Pepperpot Centre in west London, Community Centred Knowledge is offering this year a second afternoon out for African and Caribbean Elders and those interested in the histories and cultures of the tree species of the associated tropics.

Event Information

Following a successful afternoon out In Kew Gardens during the 2022 Urban Tree Festival, with Caribbean Elders from the Pepperpot Centre in west London, Community Centred Knowledge is offering this year a second afternoon out for African and Caribbean Elders and those interested in the histories and cultures of the tree species of the associated tropics.

The afternoon will be spent in Kew Botanical Gardens, meeting at Victoria Gate at 12.00 noon until 3.15 in the afternoon on Wednesday 17th May, 2023.

We will be in the company of a Kew Plant Scientist, Ben White, who has organised a bespoke tour of the Palm house.

Places are free, just bring your own packed lunch an an interest in tropical trees!
