Tours of Winning Woodlands - locations revealed after the Awards

The London Tree and Woodland awards celebrate some of the great and inspiring projects and people looking after London’s Urban Forest. This year as part of the Urban Tree Festival there will be a tour of one of the winning woodlands.

One location will be looking at ancient woodland management and work being undertaken to build resilience to the woodland connected to pest and diseases.

The second location is looking at how woodland can play its part in reducing the flow of water, helping to reduce flood risks and improve water quality as well as providing a place for people and wildlife.

The locations of the winning woodlands are being kept in secrecy until after the awards event on the 17th May!
