Introducing 20 Remarkable Urban Trees From Across Britain with Paul Wood.

Event Information

Paul Wood, best known for his books about trees in London, has managed to get beyond the M25!

For his next book, Paul is researching great trees found in towns, cities and villages throughout Britain and Ireland. In this exclusive online event for the Urban Tree Festival, he’ll talk about his journey so far and will introduce us to 20 trees that have particularly caught his attention in towns and cities from the north of Scotland to the west of Cornwall.

Paul is working on a book of 1,000 trees to be published by Penguin in 2023. He has spent the last 18 months travelling and has more ground to cover this year, including the island of Ireland. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk, and Paul would be very pleased to receive suggestions of great trees in towns and cities he should know about. If you’d like to suggest one, please get in touch via Paul’s website, thestreettree.com , where you can also read more about this research.
