Discovering Urban Trees
This year we invite submissions for events on the theme of ‘Discovering Urban Trees.’ We look forward to reading your ideas for events! Use our online form to submit your events.
Our theme this year has been inspired by the The London Tree Ring vision – a plan to plant an unbroken ring of trees around London, working to encircle London with treescapes – connecting up a rich mosaic of other habitat – a superhighway for nature. Find out more about The London Tree Ring here. Are you within the The London Tree Ring zone? How would you like to get involved? Outside of the zone? How could your stories inspire and encourage interaction with Urban Trees?
About submitting events
We are opening submissions a little earlier this year, based on feedback from our participants, and submissions will be accepted via our on-line form.*
The deadline for submissions this year will be midnight BST 21st March 2025 - giving you 6 weeks to submit your events! Please ensure your events are uploaded by this date, we cannot guarantee late submissions will be added to the programme. Please use our Google form to submit your events. We are happy to receive submissions for online events hosted by you.
We are particularly keen to hear about activities designed with inclusion in mind.

Please Donate
Most tickets for the Urban Tree Festival are free, but we ask attendees to please donate if they can.
We suggest a donation of £5 per event ticket and you can easily donate by clicking the donate button. Larger donations are always welcomed.
Donations are essential to running the Urban Tree Festival.
