Join Street Trees for Living trustee and Royal Parks Treescapes Curator Greg Packman on a tree walk around New Cross, taking in Fordham Park, Folkstone Gardens and the pathways between. Greg’s walks are famed for their spontaneity and creativity, ranging from expertise on urban trees and ancient trees to ecology and folklore.

Explore the diverse treescape of New Cross while learning how trees shape urban environments, support biodiversity, and connect communities to nature. Along the route, you will encounter a variety of species and hear insights into their history, characteristics, and ecological value.
