Radicle Tree Walk: Ravenscourt Park

Event Information

Join us to celebrate the remarkable trees of Ravenscourt Park, with a special event as part of the monthly 'Radicle Plant Walk' series. This tree-themed foray weaves botany, horticulture, herbal medicine, foraging and storytelling to explore local treescapes in their fullest sense.

Together we will explore the complex history of trees, honour their stories of movement and migration, learn more about the gifts of the trees growing around us and discuss how we can create living landscapes based on respect for the land, plants, all peoples and creatures.

As part of the walk, we will spend time together with a herbal tea from the trees, reflecting on the stories of the trees we have met and our relationships with them.

Claire is a medical herbalist with a background in community food growing.

They are both fascinated by the stories of the plants we find around us, and how we can live more closely with trees in our daily lives.
