We are opening our urban tree nursery providing tours around our site demonstrating the possibilities of urban tree growing.

Hackney community tree nursery, are a group who care for and plant trees in Hackney. We are a grass roots organisation run by volunteers growing, planting and caring for trees in Hackney.

Open from 10am-3pm

Tours at 11.00am & 1.00pm

Hackney community tree nursery, are a group who care for and plant trees in Hackney. We are a grass roots organisation run by volunteers growing, planting and caring for trees in Hackney.

We are a group of volunteers who: 

• Grow trees at our community Tree Nursery.

• Plant trees in parks and other green spaces across Hackney.

• Plant and care for Hackney community orchards.

• Support local groups to plant trees on estates and green spaces. 

• Manage forest trees in Wick Woodland.

• Provide memorial and sponsored tree plantings.

• Work with Hackney Council and other community organisations to promote good practices for urban tree stewardship.
