A short illustrated talk exploring the relationship between trees and the built environment, delivered as part of a programme of learning and engagement around urban nature in the City of London.
The session will examine how trees and architecture interact within dense urban settings—considering how street trees, gardens, and planting schemes shape the experience of historic and contemporary city spaces. It will highlight the ecological, cultural, and wellbeing value of integrating nature into the built environment.
Delivered by Judith Loesing (TBC), the talk will offer accessible insights suitable for a general audience, encouraging reflection on how urban design can better support biodiversity, climate resilience, and human wellbeing.
