Event Information

Stomping Grounds NE and Nourish the Wild invite you to walk with us and connect to the trees of Gateshead Riverside Park. As part of the Urban Tree Festival we will offer a gentle introduction to mindfulness in nature, demonstrating how urban trees can be powerful in offering relaxation and wellbeing in a busy city environment. We will stroll through the park, stopping for some mindful activities, enjoy views of the River Tyne, identify different tree species and finish with a cuppa at the Stomping Grounds NE forest school site.

The route is wheelchair accessible apart from final stop within the forest school, suitable for prams and toilet facilities are available at start and end point.
