An approximately 2-hour guided walk through London’s newest large park, taking in its varied treescapes and tree species and finding out how the site was transformed into a thriving park, and the challenges to keeping the trees healthy given the legacy of the park’s industrial past.

Urban Tree Festival: The Trees of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 

An approximately 2-hour guided walk through London’s newest large park, taking in its varied treescapes and tree species and finding out how the site was transformed into a thriving park, and the challenges to keeping the trees healthy given the legacy of the park’s industrial past. 

The walk is more or less flat, on maintained paths. 

Start and end: Timber Lodge café inside the park, E20 1DY. 

Nearest tube/mainline: Stratford
