How can we work with trees to create resilient, edible landscapes that are accessible to all? Join us for a guided walk celebrating the ecological and cultural diversity of trees in and around Langthorne Park in Leytonstone. Draw inspiration from their ecological role and the relationship between trees, their lands of origin and indigenous cultures.
Event Information
This event is being delivered by Than Gunabalasingham of Nourish the Wild CIC, in partnership with Time to Grow! CIC.
This is a leisurely circular walk through Langthorne Park, exploring, celebrating and discussing all things trees, particularly in the context of food system change.
Subject to time and interest we may also be taking in some of the trees in the surrounding streets.
We will be meeting at the main entrance to Langthorne Park on High Road Leytonstone.
The walk will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, and will start at 11am. Please arrive in good time so that we can start promptly.
