Women On Nature

Burst out of lockdown! And join Katharine Norbury for a walk across Wimbledon Common.

Katharine is the editor of a new, landmark anthology of women’s writing about the natural world.

It contains an extraordinarily rich array of contributors, spanning seven centuries, from Emily Bronte and Virginia Woolf, to contemporary writers including Jay Griffiths, Anita Sethi and Jackie Kay.

It’s a ground-breaking vision of the natural world which, in addition to being a rich and scintillating anthology, is of unique importance in terms of women’s history and the history of writing about nature.
