Event Information

This walk will explore the use and representation of trees through the Linnean Society's collections. Our Head of Collections, Isabelle Charmantier, will take you through the exhibtion which looks at how trees are represented in natural history illustration, iconic trees, economic botany, and the exploitation of trees. You will get an insider's view of why these rare books, manuscripts, specimens, artefacts, photographs, and original art were chosen to tell the story of our relationship with trees.
