Saturday 17th May

Time:  4:30am

Location:  The Meadow Café, Mayflower Drive
Plymouth, PL2 3DG

Tickets: FREE, Book Here

The Dawn Chorus walk is an opportunity to experience the daily soundtrack that nature provides as the new day emerges from the night before. With luck the park's tawny owls will hoot a welcome and then a robin will start the overture before the wrens, blackbirds and song thrushes join in for a full blown wall of sound.

Event Information

As in previous years the walk will be led by Andrew Godden, an experienced local birder.

The walk will commence around 4.30am so participants are advised to arrive on foot or by car. Mayflower B is a free car park next to the Life Centre and provides easy pedestrian access to the walk's start point.

We assemble in the dark so warm clothing, sensible footwear are advised. You may also find a torch/head torch helpful for the initial part of the walk. The camera on your mobile phone is a good way of recording the sounds you will hear.
