Join us for a special screening of Happy Man Tree, a moving film that tells the story of a beloved 150-year-old street tree in Hackney - so cherished by the community that it even has its own name. When local residents discover that a property developer has been granted permission to fell the tree, they come together in a powerful effort to protect it, revealing the deep connections between people, place, and nature.
Following the screening, stay for a Q&A session with members of the Notice This Tree campaign, offering insight into the real-life story behind the film and the ongoing importance of community action.
