Marcelo White

Marcelo White explains the process for growing on trees

A dedicated arborist and trustee of Tree Musketeers, a volunteer-led charity that propagates, plants, and cares for trees across Hackney, East London. With a background in arboriculture, he brings both technical expertise and a passion for community engagement to his role, actively participating in the organization’s initiatives, including leading guided tours of the Hackney Community Tree Nursery during events like the Urban Tree Festival. In addition to his work with Tree Musketeers, Marcelo serves as an arboriculturalist at the London Borough of Islington. His contributions to urban forestry and community outreach have been recognized by the Arboricultural Association, which named him Young Arboricultural Professional of the Year. Marcelo’s commitment to urban greening and his ability to connect with diverse communities make him a valuable asset to both Tree Musketeers and the broader environmental movement in London.
