A guided, sunset trail around Castle Bromwich Hall Parkland exploring a few veteran trees and imagining the stories of some people who would have planted, harvested, enjoyed and strolled around them over the centuries. Maybe you will find a famous person walked where you now live!

You can reach us easily by bus on routes 94, X70 & X12 from Birmingham city centre.
On routes X12 or 72 from Solihull centre or the number 71 from Sutton Coldfield.
We are on the Greenways Cycle route, and offer a secure bike stand for our customers."

Oliver Pickering is the Outdoors and Nature Engagement Manager for Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens and also leads the Forest School Sessions there. He is very knowledgeable about the parkland trees and the history attached to them.
Soobie Whitfield
Soobie Whitfield is a freelance creative workshop facilitator and teacher. She is passionate about linking local people to their environment and green spaces. She and Oliver have led several successful creative walkshops in previous years.

Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens
Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens are a small charitable trust set up to restore and manage the 18th Century formal gardens , orchard and historic parkland attached to Castle Bromwich Hall. (The Hall is currently a hotel.) The parkland is free to access throughout the year and the gardens can be accessed for a small fee.
