The London Walking Festival from National Park City takes place throughout May, and there are tree-themed events during the Urban Tree Festival.
London National Park City are working together with Go Jauntly and Footways to create a walking festival celebrating walking (and wheeling) in London.
Location: Various, including the London National Park City Visitor Centre at 80 Mortimer St
Celebrating walkers, writers, wanderers, filmmakers, foragers, campaigners, chroniclers and folk that just love a stroll. London’s month-long Walking Festival encapsulates the essence of experiencing a greener, wilder and connected capital on foot.
Key Objectives
Support partner organisations and increase awareness of existing events.
Celebrate London’s Green Spaces: Host walks that explore London’s rich biodiversity fostering an appreciation for urban nature within an urban environment.
Promote Health and Well-being: Organise walks and challenges that encourage everyday walking, promoting a healthier lifestyle for diverse audiences.
Embrace London’s Character: Curate thematic walks that encapsulate the unique character and diversity of London’s neighbourhoods, celebrate the joy of walking along historic streets and offer participants a chance to experience the city from various perspectives.

Most tickets for the Urban Tree Festival are free, but we ask attendees to please donate if they can.
We suggest a donation of £5 per event ticket and you can easily donate by clicking the donate button. Larger donations are always welcomed.
