Event Information

Haiku brings nature to us as images and feelings that are focused on the natural world. The poetic form is well known, just three short lines that create concentrated memories of what we see around us. Join Fruit & Nut Village in the beautiful setting of Druids Heath The Green Forest Garden in Druids Heath, Birmingham, for a guided walking tour to learn, write and share haiku, celebrating our intrinsic connection to nature.

Haven’t written haiku before? No problem! This workshop is open to all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. If you’d like to come along to enjoy the site tour without writing, you are welcome to do so; there is no pressure, only people coming together. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, as this session is outdoors. All materials and refreshments provided.
