Event Information

In this informative session, we’ll guide you through the essential steps to launch your Community Orchard. You’ll learn about key considerations, best practices, and insights drawn from our experiences - both successes and challenges.

Sit down interactive discussion and presentation, followed by a walk to a community forest garden nearby.

After the sit-down workshop, we will walk over to Bedford Fields Community Forest Garden (5 min walk) to see a real-life community project in full swing.

Fruit Works Co-operative is a social enterprise helping people to plant and maintain fruit trees in the Bradford and Leeds area. We try to make fruit growing easy!
Our vision is a West Yorkshire where more people are growing and eating fruit in abundance.
We teach educational courses, grow our own fruit trees, and work with schools and community groups to get more people growing fruit and feeling connected to the land around us.
