Join us in Swindon's Old Town Gardens for a morning of creativity and nature. Participants will choose a tree to observe and draw or paint. No artistic experience is necessary, just curiousity.

Join us in Swindon's Old Town Gardens for a morning of creativity and nature. Participants will choose a tree to observe and draw or paint. No artistic experience is necessary, just curiousity. Local artist Mary Parsons will be on hand to suggest prompts and share tips. You can sketch, or paint. You can choose to focus on mixing colours; creating natural drawings focusing on texture and shape and shading.

Mary Parsons is a Swindon based artist who works on location. She creates artwork everywhere she goes, focusing on colour, architecture and nature. She has painted the gardens of Avebury Manor National Trust and Prospect Hospice whilst working as an Artist in Residence. She wants to show that wellbeing is possible wherever you live.

Most tickets for the Urban Tree Festival are free, but we ask attendees to please donate if they can.
