ParkBathe in MHA The Wilderness (all mobilities welcome)
Ticket Information
ParkBathe is a citizen-science project that offers mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals who might not usually engage in wellness activities. We draw on secular aspects of forest bathing, forest school, and mindfulness — essentially, it’s about walking slowly through a local green space while mindfully noticing our surroundings (no water involved!).
Event Information
This session is part of this year's Urban Tree Festival.
Each 45-minute guided session involves small groups led by one of our trained ParkBathe walk leaders. These walks are designed to be inclusive and are suitable for people with dementia, those with low mobility, and wheelchair users. Carers and family members are also welcome to join.
Sessions are offered free of charge, with an option to donate. We kindly ask participants to pause before booking and consider whether they are in a position to contribute. Donations enable us to continue delivering these walks to those who might not be able to afford them.
We recommend booking up to 3 sessions to experience the full benefits and to learn the techniques for ongoing use.
To learn more about ParkBathe, tune into our podcast and subscribe for walk updates. The podcast features interviews with forest bathing scientists, nature experts, and former ParkBathers — plus a self-guided audio track that can be used in any local green space.
