Rooted in Trees – Free Your Spine to Free Your Mind
Led by Nicola Geismar
The day begins with a welcoming outdoor health and wellbeing session designed to help participants slow down, move gently and connect with the landscape around them. Set among the trees of Greenwich Park, the session offers an accessible introduction to the relationship between nature, physical health and emotional wellbeing.
This music-led movement experience explores the spine as a source of freedom, expression and connection, encouraging participants to move in a relaxed and intuitive way while enjoying the sights and sounds of the park.
The session is suitable for all abilities, with movements adapted so that everyone can take part at their own pace. No previous experience is needed.
We will be running two 30-minute sessions, with places available on a first come, first served basis.
Note: If you have any existing health concerns or are unsure whether exercise is suitable for you, please check with your doctor or healthcare professional before taking part.
