Drawing on the importance of the natural world in many world religions, earth-based spirituality, and humanist philosophies - as well as our own lived experience - we’ll use ritual to tune in to the sacred place of trees in the world.

This event will begin with a short workshop exploring our connection to the trees in our lives. Drawing on the importance of the natural world in many world religions, earth-based spirituality, and humanist philosophies—as well as our own lived experience—we’ll use ritual to tune in to the sacred place of trees in the world.

We will then walk to Hampstead Heath to appreciate significant trees, learn how to identify them, and hear about tree conservation efforts. The event concludes with hot drinks at the Heath Hands Nature Interpretation Centre.
The Workshop will be led by Rev Kate Dean and the Walk by a member of Heath Hands.
