Tree Safari

Event Information

Join us in Clemson’s Park for a gentle, creative outdoor adventure celebrating the magic of trees. This hands-on session invites young children and their grown-ups to explore the shapes, colours, and textures of the park’s leaves before crafting their very own nature crowns to take home.

• A short, child-friendly “leaf safari” to collect fallen leaves, petals, and natural treasures
• A discovery station with magnifiers, leaf ID sheets, and simple activities to help children notice patterns and textures
• A crown-making workshop using cardboard bands, crayons, glue dots, and the natural materials they’ve gathered

Perfect for children aged approximately 2–10, with activities designed to suit a wide range of abilities and attention spans. Parents and carers stay with their children throughout to support exploration and creativity.

• We only collect fallen natural items, keeping the park’s trees safe
• Non-toxic, child-safe craft supplies
• A quiet blanket space available for children who need a calmer moment
• Dress for the weather and for sitting on grass or blankets
