Join us in Swindon's Old Town Gardens for a morning of creativity based on our beautiful trees. Participants can sketch or paint, choosing to focus on close-up textural detail, focus on a single tree, or focus on a wider view. No artistic experience is necessary, just curiosity.
Local artist Mary Parsons will be on hand to suggest prompts and share tips. Bring your own materials and a seat (some benches are available). The event is aimed at adults; 16 years upwards welcome.

Mary Parsons
Mary Parsons is a Swindon-based artist who works on location. She creates artwork everywhere she goes, focusing on colour, architecture and nature. She has painted the gardens at Avebury Manor, National Trust, and Prospect Hospice whilst working as an Artist in Residence. She wants to show that well-being is possible wherever you live.
