Event Information

As part of Botanical Shakespeare’s “Shakespeare in the Wild: Urban Forest Bathing” we are inviting women-identifying persons to join a writing workshop (online or in person) to reflect, write and share an ode, letter or blessing to 'Urban Trees'. In this facilitated session we consider what urban trees bring to our imaginations and we make time to write both about and to them. Trees are found everywhere, in towns and cities, how do we recognise and engage with them and how do we relate to them? The workshop is a time to pause, take a breath and bring our words to share, in whatever form we desire to a safe space to be inspired. Join us in-person at the Hello Love location in London, or online with those around the country and globe, to write together about Urban Trees. Works from the workshops may be displayed periodically in the Hello Love space digitally and in physical form throughout the Urban Tree Festival and Chelsea Fringe.
