Drum Making Workshop
Led by Margarita Novikova / be_heard_arts

Join participatory artist Margarita Novikova for a lively, hands-on drum-making and sound workshop using recycled and discarded materials.

Participants will be invited to experiment with simple construction, rhythm, noise and collective sound-making, creating their own instruments and then using them together. The session is playful, informal and designed to encourage creativity, participation and self-expression.

Margarita’s practice explores community creativity, sound, collective action and the creative reuse of materials, drawing on ideas around the Aesthetics of the Oppressed and ways that making and performance can help people be heard.

The workshop is open to all ages and abilities, with no previous experience needed.
